Women of Letters is an afternoon that celebrates a diverse range of strong female talent whilst simultaneously raising funds for Victorian animal rescue shelter, Edgar’s Mission.
Co-curated by Marieke Hardy and Michaela McGuire, the monthly occasion brings together five of Melbourne’s best and brightest writers, musicians, politicians and comedians in celebration of the beautiful lost art of letter-writing.

July brings another frosty winter to Melbourne, but we here at Women of Letters don't mind the cold. Why? Because we know that soon we'll all be snuggled up together inside the cosy environs of the THORNBURY THEATRE to celebrate the lost art of letter-writing with you! Join us, won't you, on Sunday 31 July, when the WoL team bring together on stage for the first time: Actress and beloved star of Play School BENITA COLLINGS Award-winning author TONI JORDAN Neurosurgeon at The Royal Melbourne Hospital DR KATE DRUMMOND Acclaimed writer FRANCESCA RENDLE-SHORT Beloved performer NEDA These wondrous women will each be penning 'A Letter to My Ticking Clock'. There'll be the usual wine and letter-writing combo we've grown to love, and a special DJ set by the magnificent TACE KELLY.
